
Wendy
Dougherty
Wendy is a social and environmental impact management expert with over twenty years of experience in philanthropy, international development, and management consulting. A through-line of her career is working on systems change to address global challenges, e.g., climate change, gender equity, global health, education and workforce development, and human rights in the U.S. and over twenty countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Over the past two decades, she has evaluated grant applications and managed and evaluated complex grant portfolios spanning private foundations, corporate philanthropy, multilaterals, and government-funded initiatives in roles with the World Bank, KPMG, USAID contractors, and foundations. At KPMG, she supported the assessment of $300M+ grant portfolios by strengthening application review frameworks, due diligence processes, and compliance and risk analysis for global foundations and Fortune 500 clients. She is fluent in Spanish. She received her Master’s Degree from UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy and her B.A. from Duke University. She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
