Maisel
Andrew Maisel is a former Senior Program Officer with Open Society–U.S. at the Open Society Foundations, where he led grantmaking portfolios focused on racial justice and narrative and culture change, and co-founded the Soros Equality Fellowship. He previously served as a senior policy associate at the Open Society Policy Center, advancing federal criminal and racial justice advocacy. Prior to this work, he held roles at Amnesty International USA and in the office of U.S. Senator Russ Feingold. Andrew holds a dual degree in political science and history from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University. He lives in Washington, D.C., where he enjoys ultrarunning and spending time with his two young children, Isabel and Oliver.
