AJ Hassan is the Emmy Award Winning Chief Creative Officer of Capital A, an agency of independent creatives and makers that partner with global and regional clients to deliver communications and create impact. Previously a VP at R/GA and Leo Burnett, AJ leads multi-disciplinary teams in developing breakthrough strategic and creative ideas. Notable works include the innovative brand development and launch of Bubly for PepsiCo and the widely-recognized award winning Always #LikeAGirl campaign, that challenged gender bias and captured +150 million views on YouTube and the Super Bowl stage. AJ has served on prestigious advertising juries including The One Show, D&AD, Cannes Lions and as an expert reviewer for Lever For Change and Pivotal Ventures. In 2018, she was named "Creative of the Year" by ADCOLOR for her work in diversity and inclusion. AJ currently serves on the board for non-profit initiatives, The Tween Esteem Project, and Razia's Ray of Hope.
