Dotty Diemer is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience in the fields of communications, public relations and government affairs.
She currently heads up DDK Communications, a PR consulting company offering clients counsel and program support in strategic communications planning, marketing communications, crisis communications, media relations, social media and government relations.
Diemer’s past experience includes serving as the top communication executive for multinational corporations Hyundai and Mitsubishi, and as a public affairs and government relations specialist for Northrop Grumman and the U.S. Congress. She also previously served as Senior VP of one of the West Coast’s largest PR firms, where she oversaw multiple client teams, before establishing DDK Communications in 2005.
An adjunct professor at the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism for the past 20 years, Diemer teaches graduate level courses in PR and advertising, with a focus on strategic communication planning.
