Brown Lierman
Amanda is the Vice President of Impact, Policy, and Engagement and the Executive Director of GoFundMe.org, where she leads efforts in crisis relief and philanthropy. Her career began with community organizing as an intern for then-Senator Barack Obama and later as a campaign organizer for his 2008 presidential run, where she discovered the power of storytelling to drive action. She has held leadership roles at Supermajority, Rock the Vote, the National Women’s Business Council, For Our Future, and the Democratic National Committee, spearheading major political and organizing initiatives. Amanda’s work has earned her spots on Forbes’ 30-under-30 in law and public policy and Washingtonian’s 40-under-40. She also serves as chairman of the boards for Strong Schools Maryland and Rock the Vote, sits on the board of advisors for the Rockefeller Center at Dartmouth, and serves on the Dartmouth College Alumni Council. She lives in Bethesda, MD, with her husband Kyle and their three daughters.
