Tara

Tara Roth is president of the Goldhirsh Foundation, a $60 million, fully mission-aligned foundation investing in innovation to improve human well-being and potential. She leads all aspects of the foundation, including investment strategy, and helped launch its all-female investment committee, believed to be the first of its kind at this scale. Tara began her career at Franklin Templeton and has since remained committed to purpose-driven finance and social impact, serving as founding COO of GOOD and collaborating with organizations like New Schools Venture Fund. She serves on several boards, including the Ad Council and AltaSea. Tara earned her MBA from Oxford University as a Skoll Scholar in social entrepreneurship. In 2024, she was named one of the 20 Most Influential Civic Leaders and one of the 500 Most Influential People in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
