Samii Hartman is the Philanthropic Partnerships Manager at the GitLab Foundation, where she leads relationship development and collaboration with institutional and individual partners to advance the Foundation’s mission.
Her commitment to justice and community began through service in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (via AmeriCorps), which continues to ground her approach. She brings over a decade of experience in social impact, with roles at TOMS and Cisco. At TOMS, she led employee engagement and secured grant funding during a pivotal shift in the company’s giving model. At Cisco, she managed strategic nonprofit partnerships and strengthened community investment reporting.
A First-to-Go college graduate, Samii holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University. She’s traveled to 30 countries before turning 30 - a goal that shaped her DEIA values and global perspective. Samii lives in Southern California, where she thrives in the sunshine.
