Ruthe Farmer is a talent entrepreneur dedicated to building a more inclusive tech workforce. She is the Founder and CEO of the Last Mile Education Fund, which has supported more than 12,000 low-income tech and engineering students across all 50 states—achieving a 74% graduation rate and a 246× social return on investment. Previously, Ruthe served as Senior Policy Advisor for Tech Inclusion in the Obama White House and Chief Evangelist at CSforALL. Her leadership helped launch major national initiatives including NCWIT Aspirations in Computing, TECHNOLOchicas, CSEdWeek, and CSforALL Summit. Recognized as a White House Champion of Change for Technology Inclusion, Ruthe also received the Anita Borg Institute Award for Social Impact and the UK Alumni Award for Social Impact. She holds a BA from Lewis & Clark College and an MBA from Oxford University’s Saïd Business School.
