Rachel White is CEO of the AP Fund for Journalism, created in 2024 to serve as civic infrastructure for the U.S local news ecosytem. APFJ makes non-partisan, trustworthy content and services accessible to an ever-widening group of state and local news organizations in the U.S. to ensure that more people nationwide have access to accurate and trustworthy information. Previously, she served as president of theguardian.org and EVP of global philanthropy and U.S. business development at The Guardian; interim president and EVP at New America Foundation; and in various development roles at World Wildlife Fund.
